Customer journey Etihad Airlines

I recently flew with Etihad airlines to my great satisfaction, great airline and I do prefer it to the European legacy carriers. During traveling I constantly think about customer journeys, signposting, screens. Can't help it, it goes automatically. Also on this journey to from SPL to AUH to MNL, I thought of many small improvements, just I didn't store any screenshots or pictures. I decided to take pictures on my next journey with Etihad.   The Etihad customer journey to Bangkok in pictures Yesterday I booked another flight, again with Etihad . Different destination, so the customer journey may change a little (for example a "fit to fly certificate" is not needed), but I decided to make screenshots of all touch points until I have reached my destination. Experiences and retail in Tokyo and Shanghai

I traveled back to Shanghai recently, to visited friends & former collegues. I combined it with a short trip to Tokyo and Osaka in Japan. Of course I also took pictures and videos from retail locations. This time I did a little less focus on the online commerce as I did that before already.  Earlier I wrote a few posts on LinkedIn on this trip. This blog post is a combination of those LinkedIn posts with some additional context and pictures. It will be a long post with many pictures and some videos, so be prepared to scroll down. China Shanghai It was very nice to be back in China again and a pleasure to use their advanced fintech and payment technology. It makes retail so much more fun. It took a bit of work to get it working as a tourist this time, but I managed to get both Alipay and WeChat pay working again.There is really some improvement needed here, to get that more working more easily for tourists. Email newsletter on global e-commerce and marketing

Free newsletter on global retail & e-commerce I read a lot, really a lot on e-commerce, marketing, advertising, AI and technology, but I didn't had a way of sharing the best content I read. It's not really suitable in blog format and spamming everyone at LinkedIn is also not a very hospitable way. But now I started a substack (free of course). It's my place to share interesting content, just doing this for fun to share knowledge and to improve cross-border and cultural understanding.  I call it "AlexNews".
